Wendy Crockett, an American photographer based in California, is interested in the modern youth. Her work involves social documentation and street photography employing both digital and analog cameras. During her stay in St. Petersburg, the artist worked on a portrait portfolio of local teenagers, depicted in their natural surrounding of the urban landscape. Are there any similarities between the youth in the USA and in Russia? How to they express their identity? And what message do they send to the world? These are some of the questions, that are subject of the artist’s visual narrative.
