The exhibition "Treasury of the Republic Sakha, Yakutia" from the collection of the State Exchequer Republic of Sakha Yakutia will be opened on May 29, 2014 in the state rooms of the Rumyantsev mansion. It represents more than 130 exhibits from unique collection of gold nuggets, ingots of platinum, silver, large natural diamonds and other precious stones, as well as a collection of jewelry and objects of decorative – applied art created by Yakut artisans and businesses.

The exhibition is not only provides the insight into the natural riches of the Yakut bowels of the earth, but also introduces the different technologies of working with precious metals and stones, animal bones, including mammoth tusk.
The exhibition demonstrates the natural gold nuggets of various sizes ranging from 1.6 kg to a few grams. Some of them have poetic names such as "Cornucopia", "Rose of the North", "Legend Labynkyr", other named because of bizarre: "Crocodile", "hippopotamus", "Great snakes." The biggest nuggets – "Taryng" (1,657 kg) and "Seligdar" (1,183 kg). Here you can see platinum and gold bullion (the largest weight exceeds 12 kg).
Also widely available raw natural diamonds mined in the Yakut ground: "Premier" (210.55 carats), "50 Years of Victory" (160.91 carats), "Vladimir Vysotsky" (96 carats), "Princess Diana" (64 22 carat), "Circumpolar flight" (37.11 carats), etc.
This is the hallmark of Yakutia charroit stone. The only deposit in the world of these stones – is located in Yakutia in the watershed of Chara River and Tokko River. At the exhibition you can see examples of this stone and products made from it.
Gallery items of jewelry and decorative – applied art by masters of Yakutia, open products by craftsmen of XVII – XVIII century, made from iron and copper (buckles, plaques, accessories harness, blade "Batu").
Basis of the exhibition consists of works by modern jewelers,stonedressers and bone carvers from 1990 – 2000-ies. And their works are made with gold and silver, precious stones and gems, mammoth ivory, released by enterprises FNP "Kudai Bakhsy", JSC "Gold Yakutia", LLC "Sakha Taas", LLC "Sahayuvelir", JSC "Mandar". Also works by famous masters of Yakutia – A.V. Manzhurev, S.N. Kolodeznikov – are presented here.
Here you can see woman's jewelry: necklaces, rings, bracelets, earrings, brooches; caskets and small plastic works, silverware for kumys (chorons), tea sets and even unexpected things such as snow goggles and a smoking pipe made of silver.
Particularly noteworthy are the works from mammoth tusk. Yakutia holds first place in Russia for the extraction of this valuable natural material. A bone carving school is based long time ago in Yakutia, with features which can be found at the exhibition. Modern Yakut wizard miniatures presented on the Yakut national epic, sculpture, depicting the representatives of the northern fauna and composition on everyday topics such as "Downstream", "Successful fishing", "Bummer".
