The library named after A. I. Herzen is a stylish modern library with original interior, friendly staff and a long tradition of clubs on interests. Our book Fund has more than 66 thousand copies, and the number of readers is approaching six thousand people.The art and crafts exhibitions, concerts of students of the St. Petersburg Conservatory, the solo performances of leading artists, film -screenings on the history and architecture of St. Petersburg passes in the library.
For many years,we are working with a Club of fans of science fiction and fantasy "LuFF", in which there are meetings with famous writers, discussions of new books, contests, and film -screenings. In the guests of the club at different times had visited, Maria Semenova, Alexander Mazin, Anna Gurova, Alex Kosh,Vitaly Zykov, Svyatoslav Loginov, etc. Also in the library has opened a club of needlework "Hand Made Fantasy", which contains fashion magazines, there is a room for exhibitions, organises free master-classes.
