Central Museum of soil science named after V. V. Dokuchaev is one of the largest museums in the world of soil -environmental profile. The museum is the keeper of the richest collection of soils from different natural zones of the world. The main exposition is soil monoliths are vertical slices of soil with undisturbed structure. Art dioramas reproduce the natural environment. In the design of the museum many famous artists have taken part.
