In October LAZAREV GALLERY presents a solo exhibition of Marina Fedorova, whose author's handwriting is the same recognizable but develops a picturesque style, and there are new stories. In the new project, the picturesque "Reflections" showcases the artist depicted modern boutiques, galleries and cafes, which reflect the life of the metropolis. Its crazy rhythm with ever-increasing speed of assimilation and processing of events, people and feelings, perceptive artist brings to the canvas, snatching an unexpected plot in the flow of daily experiences and finding the depth in the ordinary.
The heroes of a new exhibition of paintings are not only people but also mannequins – invisible witnesses of life, not having the opportunity to take part in it. Glass is a separator glamorous ideal world of reality filled with different events, real life. Sometimes the artist feels the same invisible observer, which can only reflect the lives of the other characters in his works.
Marina Fedorova finds a way to ask the viewer to serious questions about the finiteness of the world consumption of both things and fleeting human passions. There is a climactic scene – a plastic dump human bodies (or constantly tries on us images of the windows) peeling, worn to cracking and chipping.
It remains only a sincere and genuine, not necessarily completely perfect. Mother and child, rejoicing the moment of heat, the girl sitting at the bus stop, subway passengers.
New works by Marina attracted the interest of both the popular media and professional museum art. The exhibition "Reflections" Marina for the first time will present three-dimensional objects, and a new catalog of his works by the same name.
The assets of the artist solo exhibitions in Russia and Europe, as well as participation in major art fairs in Moscow, Helsinki, Paris, Monaco, Bologna, Singapore, Genoa and other cities.
