The exhibition will be opened for visitors from 23.01.2015 – 11.09.2015 year.
The main theme of the exhibition is the life and work during the siege of the residents of the historic district of Lesnoy,it is located in the North of St. Petersburg, around the current area of Courage. The plot of the exhibition is built around the "revival", the development of a large table maps of Lesnoy, using a specially designed interactive elements. Blockade of the story "tell" thematic complexes composed of unique items offered by private individuals and institutions Forest (Polytechnic and Forestry universities). In particular, the exhibition includes the siege diaries "Polytechnic" Alexander Morozov, genuine items blockade of life.
The exhibition is designed for adolescents older than 10 years. Specially developed for them the route lists that include fragments of the siege of the memories of the inhabitants of the Lesnoy, among them children, researcher at Polytechnic Institute, factory worker "Svetlana". Answering the questions and fulfilling tasks, modern teenagers will get acquainted with the layout of hydrolysis installation, developed by Professor C. I. Sharkawy to produce blockade of bread, will conduct physical experiments on the degaussing of ships and the measurement of fluctuations of the Ladoga ice, grasping the essence of the scientific discoveries made during the siege by the staff of the Leningrad physical – technical Institute.
The numerous pictures from private and museum collections are created by the image of the besieged Lesnoy, among which a special place is occupied rarely exhibited watercolors underground interior command post of the Leningrad front "Neva" sheltered in the Park University.
