"Childhood has no relation to the children; it is a myth that is created by adults." Mike Kelly.
Lemonade, good cartoons on television, school uniform, delicious dinners in the dining room. Small and large feats, skating, hikes on skis. And also ice cream in the cup and public demonstrations. Childhood, as a symbol of cloudless and carefree forever sunk into oblivion. Our life is divided into two parts: When we are little and we want to grow up, and when we are adults and want to return to childhood. The "City of childhood" – this is the point in time, where to there is no return. In the pictures is depicted not any real city, but the city – Myth of childhood memories. In society, we are always dealing with several options of image of the past, which manifests itself in different contexts and belong to different groups of carriers. The author explores his subjective point of view, he does not ask questions, and takes the viewer with him to the journey. He talks about collective memory, common to all, of the bright colours of the past, "Signs of Childhood". He imposes one memory to another, fragments the composition, building a "memory space", rethinking itself and time. At the same time, through simple stories and characters comes a feeling of longing. City of childhood – is a place where you cannot return, this is a town -myth.
